The streets with many restaurants and cafes are often decorated for festivities like the Three kings, Easter and Christian celebrations. Adeje center is the perfect fit for you if you wish to ¨live like a local¨, the kind of properties that you will find are houses with Canarian architecture and apartments. If you wish more comfort and still want to be close to the bruising center, then El Galeón is a very good match.  Los Olivos is also an alternative because it is close and very well connected. Two things you will find in Adeje center are: the best chicken restaurant and the entrance to the Barranco del Infierno hiking route. If you wish to live like a local Adeje is the place.
